If you're talking about penalties for being rude in the lobby or in the game, then it's already been discussed. I think it was somewhere in "Feedback & Suggestions".

not aware of any such vulnerabilities right now, but are you that shy about your IP address? I don't really worry about it myself...

No it was not rudeness that i was talking about and i did not see the discussion about it anywhere. if some one _uck with me i get out of the room

shy? no. i am asking about ability to get IP addresses only because i was thinking that some might use the game to attack and harass people after getting their IP address with ddos... and a lot more

so is it possible that persons different from the official server admins might get a way to know our IP address?

Ah, sorry Got you wrong there. You can always hide your IP behind a proxy.

No modifications needed, just right-click on the names in the lobby/rooms and select info -> the IP of the selected player will be displayed.

I do that often to find out from where people are, I would find an automatic display of the IPs country flag or TLD cool though...
