I have a few, small suggestions for future versions of Hedgewars. I don't think any of them are particularly hard to implement relative to the potential advantages...
1) Having a keybindings.txt that will allow me to add such lines as:
bind v msg(nice shot)
bind b msg(/juggle)
bind n use(parachute)
Because you know, sometimes you just don't have time to do all that typing...
2) The completing of what I call "irregular weapon usage".
I was thrilled to discover that in Hedgewars you can still use a PickHammer from a fall or a jump. As many of us will remember, this was an old trick in a certain game to prevent taking fall damage. In Hedgewars you can also do this with Flying Saucer, Rope and parachute, too. I see you can even backjump for added height and then use Fire Punch.
HOWEVER! What happens if the clock's ticking and I'm still swinging around in the middle of nowhere with my rope? What can I do? What happens if my flying saucer is about to run out and I have no parachutes? What happens if my parachute gets caught by a strong gust of wind and starts to blow me towards the bottomless depths...? In these cases, I need to be able to use my teleport mid-air. Better yet, I need to be able to put down a girder while dangling from a rope or flying in the heavens! From up there, sitting on my steel platform, I'm sure I'll be able to make a plan.
But at the moment, I can't. T_T
