grenade spam

I just wanted to try and convice people that in version .16 they should make the grenade's maximum damage 49 instead of 50 because as of now people will jump on hogs and spam using normal grenades for a pre determined 2 turn kill with an infinite weapon amount. It is really making default tedious and although I am a shoppa player I still think it is over powered if it does 50, even if not 49 I believe it should do less than half. Also, on an unrelated note, I heard you guys are getting rid of random weapons because it is "too popular" but I honestly dont see enough games of it to even consider this idea let alone take a game mode out. But with that said, you better leave shoppa alone :P

Grenade is a little over powered,its just as powerful as the bazooka.I would recommend reducing the damage.

summary: grenade back to old damage, but from now on explosions assume they are not closer to a gear's center than the gear's radius

(i.e. - grenades are now maxed at 47 dmg)

Also, obviously Henek was doing an April Fools joke playing on the popularity of his script, but there is a change on that front as well.

How is this much different than the shotgun? It's pretty easy to get 50 damage with that.

Shotgun you have to use 2 shots and you can't stand right next to them or you'd be damaged, so there is some aim involved.
An experienced player would almost always walk up and place a 'nade in a hog, just because it was lower risk.

Oh, okay. So before where you saw default games being a series of turns where people only use grenades or shotgun, now they will never use grenade and just use shotgun, over and over again. Tediousness 100% improved.

In reality though, not really. In default games played by skilled players there are actually very few (if any) "sit there and exchange 50 damage" rounds. Well, assuming four hogs, at least.
