Hello ,
I play shoppa since a while now , but something annoy me , really! The autocam don't focus on player when attacking , or drop object , so it's hard sometimes to calculate where you fall in air and can rope again.
If a dev read this , i would like you , if possible , to add a 3rd sort of camera fixed on player moves. Sure it's not so hard to do , and a lot of them will love it!

The camera *does* focus on player moves.
Basically. No idea what you just said.

When you drop any nade or mine , or any weapon like bazooka in air , the camera follow the weapon , not you...

I know this is true for bazooka, cause i played shoppazooka a lot of time... for mine, i'm not sure
but i agree with you, cam should follow player cause after drop bazooka, yu just have few second to land good

m'k. that's a trivial enough a change.

Actually, recall pondering camera focus for just that scenario a while ago, but I guess not being a big shoppa player, figured following the attack was better, so left it alone.

Sure, sure. Not a prob. One line code change IMO.
Heck. You could test it yourself in 0.9.17 if you have a build handy.

I tested though, and camera only leaves the hedgehog for things like cluster bomb or cheese that have secondary explosions.
Every other weapon, camera already stays on the hog. Is this really such a big deal?
Heck, in those cases you could still press h or rerope.

Otherwise, can indeed always force camera follow while on rope.

From what I've seen the camera problem Loll mentions is specially recurrent on Shoppa games with some "crazy" touch, like barrels, mines and explosions and specially when you have unlimited attack and so can drop weapons in the middle of the turn.

When you are shopping and drop a weapon from air, and hell breaks loose at the bottom (explosions, hogs flying, mines and barrels detonating) then the camera goes grazy and starts focusing on that and on your hog, back and forth).

So I agree with Loll that it would be nice to have a third type of camera, besides the two already existing, that exclusively follows the active hog.
