Hedgewars on Steam, like the idea?

Hi people, im back to talk about this possiblity, and want to know your opinion about sharing game in steam store, this is the best chance to allow the game have a bigger community and grown his popularity.

So please if admins or other, do you support me, ill glad to help publishing the game on Steam Greenlight.

You don't need to. sheepluva even stated that you can sell the game, since the license permits it. The problem was that someone had to take the time and put the game on Steam and then maintain it. So if you volunteer to manage the Steam distribution, I doubt anyone will have a problem with this (unless maybe you do it wrong, in a way that will harm the game, but it would have to be done deliberately).

I personally don't mind if you put the game onto Steam Greenlight.

And I'm pretty sure most other community members and devs don't mind either, except maybe for those who consider Steam a DRM cancer Big Grin

I will put all effort to mantain the game if be aproved, but dont know what you mean by harm game in wrong way, about the DRM i wll not use steam api integration to avoid that. Also still waiting some words from others like nemo and mikade.

Recieved private message from unC0Rr (Andrey Korotaev), also he dont mind about this, now that i have his permission feel more happy to proceed with this, next step is to prepare Greenlight announcement.
