Cursor re-centering when spamming girder

I wanted to create a bug issue for this, but then I though maybe it's intended behavior (then it shouldn't).
When you try to place girder and click few times in the wrong position, your cursor moves to the center of the screen. It's ultra annoying when you try to make a precise structure and your cursor keeps doing weird things.
Why does it happen? Is it a bug or some feature that went wrong?
