Hello,
I recently got a YouTube channel up and running, and I thought a good place to start content-wise was Hedgewars, due to the fact that this game has so much customization, and my buddies and I love playing it on a regular basis anyway.
I was wondering if the devs wanted me to record anything specific, especially with the new features of the 1.0 release. Congrats on that by the way 
And, of course, if anyone wanted me to showcase their mods/DLC, I would be more than willing to do that.

I don't really have specific ideas, since there's a lot of costumization. Maybe highlight a variety of different things to make stuff more diverse? Generally stuff that could be of interest for those who don't anything about the game yet. You could show off some of the different random map styles, maybe some singleplayer levels (campaigns, missions) or interesting multiplayer games.
A new trailer would definitely be awesome, as we still don't have one for 1.0.0 yet. (Old trailers: https://hedgewars.org/node/6899)
If you have demos, you can always re-record them as a video file. Remember you can enable auto-saving of demos, which you probably want to do. Just in case. You can have peace-of-mind in case a live recording fails.

Anyway, are there any news on the video front so far?

Yup, I'm still working on it. Life has been throwing everything its got at me, and I've been very busy. But don't worry, it's still being worked on! I'm taking a more montage approach, I agreed that having so much dialogue would cause some unnecessary problems down the road.
Lol, I'm no expert either, but here we are, supporting an awesome game.
Anywho, I'll hopefully have Trailer 2 coming out soon!
