Well, it took some time to get this one sorted, but Tiyuri & FireFox vs. claymore & pterodaktill was finally played and ended with 1:2.

Hello everyone,

No updates this time round, I just wanted to log on to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
It's that special time once again and I find it only proper that I suggest something that goes completely against everything I've said throughout the year...  don't play Hedgewars!

Spend the next few days with those nearest and dearest, your family, friends, loved ones. Unwrap presents, eat turkey, sing songs, play games and get drunk off your ass.. but I don't want to see you on the server!  (note: playing local Hedgewars together is acceptable).

In all seriousness though, I want to thank all of you that have helped make Hedgewars what it is today. We've had a wonderful year and the game is no longer just a small indie game, but a small community too, one that I am truely proud to be part of.

So again, Merry Christmas to you all! and a Happy New Year!

Round #4 arrived, the finals are near

We will see two awesome matches this week:

claymore & pterodaktill
vs.
Tiy & FireFox

O00 & slash
vs.
GMLudo & schischa

They'll be played in pro+artillery mode. What's that? The scheme is basically the same as with pro mode, but artillery must be activated so hedges can't move. For the weapons part, it is pro mode (bazooka, grenade, mortar) plus 3 teleports. Chose 'em wisely

Update (2009-12-23): The first game hasn't been played yet because of some organizational difficulties. Please hold on.

The next round is coming up! We had some exciting match this past week which has been played in pro mode. You can download and watch the demos if you like. It's better than TV, imho-

Unfortunately, we had to kick two teams again, namely BHW0011 & Hedgeking as well as RM's & MM's Wienerwürstchen since they couldn't line up :'(
