Extra Damage

Extra damage multiplies all damage by 1.5 for the remainder of the turn. The knockback caused by explosions will also be increased by the same factor. Extra damage has no effect on the explosion size.
For example, a baseball bat, which does 30 damage normally, will deal 45 with extra damage.
The hammer is a special case here: With extra damage, a hit of a hammer hit reduces the victim's health by 1/2 instead of 1/3.
As a reminder, the extra damge symbol will be displayed above the wind bar as long this utility is stil active.
Using extra damage multiple times in the same turn has no effect, you just waste your ammo.
