I'll be sure to try it this weekend. but to me it looks like it's missing highlights, you've only got shadows from what I've seen. Wait and see what else will be said.

And there's no true lightsource, shadows are all in different directions.
Tiyuri Still no edit button, and of all people, you not being even remotely critical about a map seems odd... :P

I like the dark or fantasy style . I have drawn this map thinking about drops of oil. But the idea it took an other route :P. Aahha i didn't known the creature 'unown', that coincidence .

As said twice, make a proper lightsource, so the shadows are all in the same general direction. I'd make a quick example but I have no time right now..

How do you make a map?

Using Inkscape afaik.
Its a vector based drawing program, which is used to make most of the graphics for Hedgewars.
