I think that now it's important to see what version of the game are using the other players in network game, I don't know, like a chat command
/info player1
That says some information of the player, and hedgewars version. What do you think=

Hedgewars script for ubuntu is here...but maybe I have to update it first 
Right mouse click someone's name in the lobby, it tells you thier info. adding version number to this would be good IMO.
it does show the version number since 0.9.8
Now when we have drunk some beer let's go drive a car.
