I can probably never understand why when you go in some direction and there is an edge, the rope hooks on that edge.

Well i don't get this issue that often, so i don't really care. Everything else, including shooting rope on the fly works fine to me.

I can do half of that stuff with the hedgewars rope.

Second, a lot of the rope videos you see on youtube are just macroed, Cybershadow made a roping macro as I recall to do that roping course.

Thirdly, I think rather than being a good weapon for the game, the rope in worms actually helped destroy it, the game became all about the rope, forget mastering any of the other weapons.. you have to master the rope or there's no point playing the game. I don't want hedgewars to alienate new players in the same way the rope alienated new players in worms.

Let me make this clear for you, if you wan't to play a game thats exactly the same as worms. Play worms.

Agreed about the tactics to use only rope, but don't agree that Worms became a rope-based game

sorry, not sure if this is the right place or not to talk about this or if this is even a problem. but I've noticed you can hook on to crates using rope, pick up the crates, and have the rope still hooked there in mid air.

Yeh, we all know that I think that should be change too. I think the same happens by an explosion. You hook your rope on a piece of land and than blow it (leave not even pixel field), the rope's still hooked...Somewhere It's not a problem, it even help, but somehow doesn't loo right.

But it's fun to do some carouseling, lol.
