Er. It's really great that someone actually start making things like this. But there should be official tournaments soon. And considering the total nubmber af players who visits forum and their geographical position (different timezones) you won't be able to gather enough players till yr10. But you can give it a try of course!

I can set the slots at 4 , 8 , 12 , 16 , 20 ... if needed .
But it is a good idea for an official tournament .

We'll make smth official for tournaments lately, but we haven't much time to do all things at once, so we can have tournaments like this until official support is developed.

A little suggestion: make regional (or timezone-seperated) rounds. For example in one round will compete players from -2GMT to +2GMT (that is, if GMT=2000h, +1GMT will be 2100h, +2GMT will be 2200h, -1GMT will be 1900h and -2GMT will be 1800h). Difference has to be equal or less then 2-3 hours (better 2 at most).

Each regional tournament will have a winner. And sometime in the future there will be a WORLD HW TOURNAMENT where all winner from the regionals will kick ass

Mixing 4vs4 and 1vs1 as unCORn said is perhaps a bad idea. Better make 2 tournaments then - one will be for team play (4vs4, 2vs2) and another one for 1vs1.

If this actually happens (which I doubt ) I'll draw a hat for the winner or something.

btw I didn't get that thing with the number. What does it mean: Post a number from 1-8 for setting your start place? What's the difference if I choose 1 or 8?

At this example : If I post 3 , I will play at first versus 5 .
Because you do not know the order of my numbers , the start place will random .

I have a suggestion. Since we have to have judge, it'll be cool if everyone except the player is a judge by spectating the match

Can anyone confirm whether or not the tournament will be held at the specified time? There seem to be too few players at the moment , and I was planning to skip college to attend this happening...

I hope , I can satrt it morning, but I very sceptical .

Come on! There are people who play this...I see them in the lobbies on the server...I have a brilliant idea (as usual ) - how about making a field in the main lobby, where important events (like Tournaments) are being displayed, so that everyone who plays on the server will read them. I'm sure that nearly 90% of the people don't bother visit the official site only for the download of the latest release. So if they do that and don't visit the forum (and even if they did, this thread is still in Off-Topic!!! ), how the hell will they know about the tournament even if they think the game rocks and play every day?!?

I have a very important question. So the tournament is on 14th. But in the news Tiyuri wrote that

there will be rounds, each round takes place over the course of the week, you arrange with your partner when to play in that week. If it takes place on one day then it just wont happen, people play from all different time zones and places.
