I added a Hedgewars Wikipedia page as the previous ones had been marked as spam.

10 minutes after adding it too. Oh well. I tried.
I already tried a few weeks ago, you may take a look at the ¿results? at http://www.hedgewars.org/node/1067
If your article is not deleted I saved the sources from the previous attempt before they deleted it, maybe you want to merge some into yours.
It will be gone before I get the chance to fix it.
The admins won't accept anything less than the greatest thing since Worms. But really though, Wormux should be marked too.
Let's mark it then

Here is my Unofficial Manual for HW. Hope you like it. Still working on it. Don't worry. Will get it finished...Sometime in the future.
I tried strengthening my objection but it will be probably be overruled again.
Edit: Nevermind. I have help (and support).

This is where the former page was being worked on.
There was some argument about the notability.
A number of hedgewars references were provided, but unfortunately after it had already been voted for deletion.
The appeal of the deletion appeared to go along the lines of "the original decision was justified based on what they knew" although there were a number of votes to restore it based on the new information.
Since someone has decided to restore it, hopefully you will incorporate the content from the link above.

The article stands, for the time being.
@nemo: I noticed that when google searching Hedgewars for my article. It helped.
Have noticed that you put as genre "Artilery game". Maybe it's better to use the information provided in the ABOUT-section of the HW-site:
Since it's a clone of Worm, you can even take some of the info from the Worm-article and paste it into the HW-article

btw we beat wormux in Feb by number of downloads on gna.org. AFAIK gna.org is the only their mirror, but it's just one of our mirrors. Here are the stats: http://stats.gna.org/download.gna.org/usage_200902.html
:D:D Hurray!!!
So now we have a proof to the bustards from wiki If they mark the new HW article for deletion, it'll be easy to show them some damn good evidence that HW is worthier than Wormux, since the first has been downloaded more so people preffer it. And Wormux' article is still standing. I smell something bad here and I'm not talking about my socks but about some great conspiracy against HW and it's coming from Wormux.

Wow. Its still there. I would have thought a wormux follower would have tried to remove it by now. Any recommendations for additions and alterations?
Probably becuase you've mentioned Wormux :D:D
Well, maybe add system requirements and links to the how-tos here (installation, troubleshooting etc.).
Also it'll be nice to add a section like "Development History" or something similar to that. In this section you can add screenshot from previous games + description of the biggest improvements during the history of HW.
And pls do correct the genre. It's also a strategy game. Artillery game is something like Scorch, Bang Bang etc. Here you not only aim and shoot, but also make some manoeuvres and tricks that aren't in a just artillery game.

Does anyone know the minimum processor and memory requirements are?
@rbalekander: Thank you. Working on it know.
Graphics card makes a big diff.
I mean, it runs on an eee pc (now it does) that has a better gfx card than my machine laptop, but worse processor.
BTW. There's a link that says there is hedgewars content on wikimedia commons that appears to be broken (content removed?).

A version history section is now there.
@nemo: Forgot about the wikimedia link. Will take care of it. That link was from my first revision when I copied the wormux article as a base for the hedgewars article.
Something bothers me (as usual ):
It just doesn't make sense that this is after the table with version history.
btw Since each version contains various bug fixes, I don't thing it's necessary to write it at the end of each cell of the table. Or at least make some kind of abbreviation. Like vba (=various bug fixes) or something. But I don't think that's necessary. All new versions of whatever software product you take contain bug fixes. That's not interesting for the users. What the important stuff is what has vitaly changed in the game - graphics, sound and gameplay.
PS: Wormux Wiki-article sucks soo hard I've just looked at it...

Thank you. This is my first (and so far my only) wikipedia article.
As always suggestions are helpful (so its better than wormux).
Well you're welcome

There's also an article in French magazine Linux Pratique

I just found it on the web.
"Beer drinkers and hell raisers, yeah.
Uh-huh-huh, baby, dont you wanna come with me?" -- Z.Z. Top
Odd. It was in the article originally. I'll re-add it.
