Hi, I just downloaded version 0.9.10, and when playing the game the framerate is extremely low (between 2 and 5 FPS). Another problem that I'm having is that the land doesn't look as if it has any damage after firing at it, but if you walk over where you shot it you still fall down.
Sad Smiley

I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 and have an integrated Intel graphics card, which could be cause the problems. Hedgewars 0.9.9 didn't have either of the problems, so there must be something new in 0.9.10 that is causing them.

Any suggestions on how to fix it will be appreciated! Smile

5 fps?! Shocking Well, did you try to lower the quality from the game's options? btw I think you should post a debug log and maybe a demo too.

I've tried lowering the quality in the options, it seemed to do nothing.
How would get the debug log?

I dunno. Never looked at demos and logs under Ubuntu...

It shows where the demos are supposed to be. Debug logs and all the other application data should be there too.

Ubuntu 9.04 has improved Intel graphics drivers. You should consider updating.

I just updated now but it is still running just as slow (maybe even a bit slower), but the other problem is fixed.

Can it be possible that you accidently changed the FPS Limit from the options?

I've got it fixed now by using a tutorial I found on Ubuntu Geek. Looks like it was a compatibility issue problem with Ubuntu and my graphics card. Smile

Glad to hear that. Perhaps post a link or something? So that if someone has the same problem, can easily find the solution for it. Smile

Intel supplies the drivers and they suck at making them.
Glad you got it working.
