I had bad sound for few effects on FreeBSD - namely shotgun reload, minetick and few others, after inspecting ogg files for those I noticed that all of them are 22.05kHz while other files have 44.1, after converting those files to sample rate of 44.1kHz all sounds the way it should Smile

I believe this could be issue on other operating systems as well

That's weird... it's all okay on my FreeBSD system. Anymway, we're switching to openal in next version, this should solve all sound problems.
