Hello. My problem is that I installed HW 9.12 two weeks ago, while still using Ubuntu Jaunty, and everything was going perfect. But since the upgrade from Jaunty to Karmic, sometimes I won't hear anything in the game, and when battle ends, it freezes all my pc (not even ctrl+alt+F1 works). And getting worse, now it sometimes won't load the game (freezing in the "building hedgehog" screen).

What must I do?

The info of my pc is:

00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/PM/GMS/910GML Express Processor to DRAM Controller (rev 03)
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller (rev 03)
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller (rev 03)

00:1e.2 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation 82801FB/FBM/FR/FW/FRW (ICH6 Family) AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 03)

00:1f.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corporation 82801FBM (ICH6M) LPC Interface Bridge (rev 03)
00:1f.1 IDE interface: Intel Corporation 82801FB/FBM/FR/FW/FRW (ICH6 Family) IDE Controller (rev 03)

02:01.0 CardBus bridge: Texas Instruments PCI1510 PC card Cardbus Controller

I don't know what more info provide you sou you can help me solve my problem.

Thank you =)

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hedgewars/+bug/454879

Most likely culprit.
To test this w/o installing the alternate library, you can turn off sound/music in options, then restart hedgewars.

Yeah, that worked pretty fine. I'll look if there's any solution for this.

worked really fine by replacing libsdl1.2debian-alsa for libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio

sudo apt-get install libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio made the trick

thank you very much!!
