Fuzzy text and graphics

Hey Buddies,
I've got this strange problem with the fuzzy text and graphics when being ingame. It's really ugly...
From my forum searches i already learned, that its a problem with newer ati drivers. Ok, so far. But is there any way to fix it? i'm not sure if i really want to downgrade my graphic-drivers for hedgewars 
... i would be glad if someone could help.

Smaxx tried adding NPOTT to .12, but graphics driver screws it up. That node has link to fixed .12 build towards bottom of his post.
