So Dr. Dickens was right about the greece theme....oh, and the barrels are a really good idea. Also, I see a guide has been added to each of the weapons. That should help new players become familiar with the controls faster. This all just makes 0.9.13 seem even more exciting!
I love the barrels and the idea of batting them around the map is neat and unique to Hedgewars. I would like to suggest however, and I don't mean to nit pick, but shouldn't barrel, after it goes into the water when it is sideways, still be sideways in the water? In the video, the barrel that is nocked into the water sides has its underwater graphic upright as if it had just fallen in. The programmer would have to specify, once the barrel hits the water, what way the barrel was before and display the appropriate graphic. Also, all the Hedgehogs have the same look when the hit the water, perhaps there could be different looks to add variety? Some of them are flying into the water hard at an angel, but their graphic is them looking and reaching directly up every singly time. Perhaps the angled falls should show them in the rolling position?
I love this game and I am very excited about 0.9.13.
Also, perhaps the barrel could be added as a weapon. Instead of setting it down like the mine, the Hedgehog could hold it above its head in the sideways position and throw the barrel. Not sure if it would be better to have it be able to be aimed up and down like a grenade, or to have it always go in one way, like the whip.

at second the barels should explode maybe one or two seconds after hit with baseballbat
at least the barrels should have some kind of chain reaction when the sparks of one explodet barrel hits another...

I was wondering about that too. I guess they are fine being upright under water. Still might be nice if they could be thrown. When selected they could hold them over their heads and then toss them. I'v never seen it done before and in the other games like this one I always wondered why mines could be placed but never barrels.
Placing barrels would be easy enough, but throwing them I'm not sure about.. reason being that they're very powerful. Might be a little overpowered to just be able to pick one up out of nowhere and throw it?
Also, their static nature.. the fact that they're part of the map and not simply a weapon that can be produced at any point is sort of what makes them unique strategy wise.
hey, shouldnt these barrels explode if you fire punched them? It would be useful for a kamikaze like attack. I would LOVE watching 5 different hogs get launched by an explosive barrel fire punch!

I'm simply suggesting the combination of the barrel bat hitting with the grenade throwing mechanic so that we would have something for the barrels that parallel mine placement. While the logical question would be, why couldn't they just pick up the barrels already there. I guess I think the ones already out there should stay out there, just like placed mines can't be picked up.
This would give us a barrel "placement" option as a weapon (them being throw-able in via this unique weapon) while still maintaining the integrity of the original barrel concept for the barrels already placed on the map.
Also, because of their strength, it may be prudent, if they are added as a weapon than can be thrown, if only one or two are available and on a timer by default. Or, perhaps they are not available and must be found as a rare weapon in a weapon crate by default.

I think they should maybe float in in the water in they are batted into it, like little plaforms you can stand on.
