i don't like that, idea was good, but when you place only 2 dynamits on one hog, or some mm next to him, he will die.. it is a little bit overpowered, when you can put more dynamits at once
Great work indeed. And here comes a question: how do you determine the position of the ring from the explosion? At first I thought it is related to the angle of the terrain on which the explosive is placed. But than the first and the last TNT proved me wrong.

Exelent!!
Inu
That just looks f-amazing!
gDani
Kaboom! Amazing!
bananaoomarang
WOW will this be in 9.13?
Uriah
It will
amh
Looks very good. Has anyone considered adding a bit of screen rumble/vibration with the larger explosions, just for a bit more visual feedback?
.hedgekiller.

FireFly
.hedgekiller., it's just temporary to try out the explosions, which is the new feature
bananaoomarang
I like the rumble Idea for big explosions. Maybe the hedgehog could go "arghhh" or "EARTHQUAKE" when it happens.
Uriah
The rumble is already implemented
Though it wasn't present in this (old) video.
bananaoomarang
Wow, 9.13 sounds like the best release so far. This is THE BEST open source game ever. With such a great dev team.
SpywarEEE th Li...
really nice
jamei
WOW. It looks great. Do you also implement sound effects for burning fires?
N8theGr8
Little features like these are what I believe can make or break a game. Tiyuri, you have YET AGAIN awed me with your visuals. Hope to see more soon!
Sauer2
THIS IS AWESOME!
Will better effects for shots, smaller explosions and fire follow?
Uriah
You guys are nice :P

Isn't it probably just random?
Christos
it would be rather nice to keep it as optional though. some of us love the crazy weapons and having many dynamites is definitely worth it
rbaleksandar
Most probably. But it'll be cooler if an explosion is related to the terrain.
Palewolf
Yep, totally random, just lucky on that video
francogp
if you add chunks of terrain all over the air caused by the explosions?...
bananaoomarang
To me that wouldn't be very nice. That doesn't seem very hedgewarsy. But I suppose it might look cool...
qubodup
Looks pretty neat!
Are you (or somebody else) also working on new Explosion sfx?
harmless911
Will this be for smaller explosions too?
Smaxx
Only the big ones. So bazooka etc. stay as their are (for now).
bananaoomarang
That's good. It's nice to have variation and it makes the game more varied and exiting.
Sun
Very awesome
secondlongest
Oh man. 9.13 is looking better and better all the time.
