I may look into this as I already know some of the basics, but I don't know how I can make it work right off the top of my head..

It's intended for 0.9.14. If you'd like to test run it in 0.9.13 you'll have to remove the last parameter/zero for all calls to "SetAmmo":

Bugs:
- You can rope to the finish at the start (1,1 seconds my best time ).
- The hedgehogs fall sometimes to the water. (I would remove the mask at the "Rope" and "Race" and I would place the hedgehogs there.
Gameplay fellings:

I fixed that.
Fixed that, too. The nonactive Hogs now stand behind the Startpoint of active Hog.
Theres still one Bug: If i slide (even if i slide very smooth) above the ground the round ends, it ends when hitting ropekey twice in a short time, too.

Couldn't reproduce any issue so far (if it happens be sure to save your debug0.txt).
To spawn a grenade that explodes at once use the following line. gtAmmo_Grenade is the bazooka missile (unfortunately).

I think its only if one player dont get to the finish till time ends or if one player leaves.

Hey Thomas, I managed to fix the bug when one dont get to finish on time...
So, I made custom packages of Roperace and Cowrace, named RoperacePlus and CowracePlus respectively. This is just to make possible having the original versions installed simultaneous with these versions modified by me, temporarily called "Plus". I tested them with only 2 teams and it worked perfectly, when a hog doesn't finish in time, it gets killed after both teams have played. However, what I did not test was 3 or more teams, and I think it won't work if, e.g, 2 of those 3 teams do not finish in time. If that happens then only one of the teams hog will die. To make both of them die isn't hard. The only difference is that the ones who don't finish in time will die right after the clock stops, instead of after all the teams have played, which is not a big problem I guess.. Right now I don't have time to make that work and test, but maybe at the end of the day I'll take a look..

I managed to implement what I said, before the end of the day. So, the following links are updated versions of Roperace and Cowrace, without the "Plus" and without the parody messages I had on the "Plus" version. I tested them alone with 2 teams and it worked perfectly, when a hog doesn't get to the end then it is automatically killed (which makes more sense), and if all of them finish in time then the worst hog is killed, in the end. I also tested with Mrock but it crashed after the first hog got killed. I changed something and didn't test multiplayer again yet. So, download it and give it a shot. Thomas if everything works fine, I guess you can merge it..

I tested it allone (not multiplayer) with 3 teams. There is still one thing to do: The hedgehogs will not die, if the player skips the turn.
Edit: I found a bug:
You can not finish the game, if the last hedgehog of a team dies, because he did not see the finish.
Hmm I can't reproduce this.. How did you really do it?
Edit: but i found a bug that may be causing that.. if the first team doesn't finish, then the second team will be considered "the worst team" if it finishes, so it dies too. I'm gonna put a better version online (without the skip too), it's kinda hard to know what to do to fix some things without the API to the game..

Currently I gotta study for some exams so I won't have much time to fix bugs.. but if there's something wrong tell me anyway
I just tested Roperace multiplayer (through the internet) and it has a great bug which I can't fix right now but I hope to soon... The bug is, when someone doesn't finish on time, that someone dies and right after that the game freezes or crashes. However, if it is a local multiplayer (local teams) everything is fine, this is weird, seems like a synchronization problem or something... I hope to check on this tomorrow night or so... Meanwhile try to reproduce this...

Heya username is Blue online shoppa player, i had a go on your first roperace race (green one) and loved it. Got alot of the other pros to play and had some fun then practising it alot i got a really good time i was wondering if you know of anyone who has beaten 29.156 because thats my current record =)

Hello, I slightly modified the .lua and the map.png to allow to track times in different areas of the game.
There are 3 areas and at the end of each turn the times for each area are displayed.
I thought this could be useful for others who'd like to compare different techniques among areas.
