Improve "ejoyability" of the game
I _REALLY_ like Hedgewars, it's really really cool and well made: this is the first gime (after worms world party) that I've really enjoyed playing. What it lacks? Two simple things:
1) HUUUUGE graphical animations for explosions (it makes player feels like he has done a bloody shot);
2) Simple blood animations (as before :P);
3) Most important thing: the game is really _STATIC_ because hedgehogs doesn't "move" so much. After an explosion an hedgehog should be thrown much more far away (lower gravity?).
4) Grenades doesn't reach an acceptable distance: i've played with a friend and we were too far away having only grenades and missiles. The problem was that my grenades doesn't reach my friends and missiles...needs too much precision (and it is a good thing).
5) Maps automatically generated are really small...maybe increasing range of weapons/map size and lowering gravity will make everything really COOL!
1) There are 2 kinds of explosions in the game, regular ones and big ones. Try dynamite or blowing up a barrel
2) Not likely to happen imo
3) Adding more animations to the game it's been on the todo list for quite long, but right now poses a problem with hats
4) Hm i guess sometimes i miss more firing power too
5) Really small? Have you tried the size selector? Large ones are big enough for me
Yep, i know, but using Bazooka or Grenade leaves players almost in the same position!!!For example the air attack is 50hp powerful but players stands always there. I think that the "spin" must be proportional to damages...In order to make the game more dynamic you have to move a lot the characters each time they were hitten!

I am a coder/developer and i can make *LITTLE* things with Inkscape...if i can help...(i've never written code for a game :'( )

Large ones are not-so-big for me...it's a tasty question: I prefer LAAAARGE maps without "briges"
