Single player works just fine in Windows 7 premium.

As soon as I try to enter a multiplayer server, Hedgewars closes down without any warning or error message.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
Comodo firewall disabled, even added the program exe in the bin folder to the exception list.

Changed to Catalyst latest drivers from 10.3 to 10.4
Trying running as administrator, 640x480, reduced graphics, full screen.

Any solution would be greatly appreciated.

Tried without Comodo? The firewalls included in Windows Vista and 7 are more than sufficient to allow you control and grant you security. There have been some issues with Comodo Firewall in the past. We're still not sure why (used it for a long time as well till I switched to Vista and now 7).

Yes I am using 64bit.
Knew I left something off my original post.
Something tells me the outlook isn't going to be too good....

I did some testing last weekend wrt Comodo and Hedgewars with Vista and XP... the only difference between working and non working setups was 64 vs 32 OS, but i haven't figured out why yet.

I've got exactly the same problem both on my Laptop running Vista 32bit and on my PC running Windows 7 64bit.

And of couse i'm using the Comodo Firewall and AVG AntiVirus on both computers.

Any suggestions?

Uninstall the Comodo Firewall and use the one built into 7 (it's sufficient and has the same abilities as Comodo if set up right).l

Still not sure what causes this.

Hi,

I have anger and entitlement issues.

Due to this, I have no friends and no loved ones. I choose to vent my anger on forums because I have no outlet in real life.

Every time I land a bazooka in Hedgewars, I imagine it destroying those who have shunned me, those who have belittled me, broke me down, TAKEN EACH AND EVERY LITTLE PIECE OF MY SOUL.

Fact is, we still don't know why that happens (otherwise we'd fix it). I've been using Comodo for years as well and never had any issues (was before I started working on Hedgewars). None of us is working "full time" on Hedgewars so we simply lack the manpower to investigate that issue.

Do you have any plans on fixing this issue? or are you just going to continue to be assholes and blame everytrhing on Comodo?

I'll tell you one thing. I'm not gonna give up one of the best firewalls available because you can't fix your issues.

I'm going to change your post

This is still an issue with latest comodo and latest hedgewars on 64bit windows 7. Since this is pretty much outside the scope of Hedgewars project, I suggest everyone file a bug report with Comodo over here:
