Weapons should inherit the speed of the hedgehog when dropped from rope. This would make it possible to throw grenades from rope instead of just dropping them (e.g. to throw them into horizontal tunnels). The way weapons behave now is physically not correct and not like one would expect. Changing this would make wider range of attacks from rope possible.

No they shouldn't. Accurately dropping weapons from rope is hard enough as it is.

Any new attacks made possible by this are most likely going to miss anyway.

Did you never play Worms Armageddon? It worked perfectly there.

I don't know if it should be that way but i think it would be cool. I can definitely see uses for having a grenade travel away instead of just dropping straight down. Instead of dropping the grenade on someones head you have to time it correctly.
