Hi,
I have problems with Hedgewars on my computer.
I can't launch it after install.
He says me that he cannot open data directory "C:\windows\system32\data"
What can I do?
(excuse my english but i'm french )
Where did you install the game? Seems like you tried to install it to some sub folder of C:\Windows which you should never do when installing stuff.
I'd suggest you uninstall the game and reinstall it to a different folder, preferably one that isn't protected by Windows 7, e.g. C:\Games\Hedgewars or (if you'd like to) C:\Program Files (x86)\Hedgewars.
If you installed Hedgewars somewhere else, tell us where and then look for the file C:\Users\[Your Windows Account\.hedgewars\debug0.log and post the file contenst (either inline or uploaded somewhere like pastebin.org).
this is the content of my debug0.log
You can notice that I have already installed hedgewars in C:\Program Files (x86)\Hedgewars
I have 2 problems.
When i just clic on Hedgewars.exe nothing happen, I have the error when I execute it with Windows Xp Sp2 Compatibility
Thanks for helping.

Uninstall the game, go to the downloads page and download version 0.9.13 (you've got 0.9.12)!
0.9.12 had a bug that caused it to try to write to it's own directory and some other things that could cause problems running on Windows Vista/7. Also you'll get more weapons, other features and players in multiplayer by upgrading. So give it a try.
i have installed the 0.9.13 but it is the same.
Here is my debug0.txt
nothing happen when i launch hedgewars.exe
when i execute hedgewars.exe with windows XP sp2 compatibility i have the same error that i said before
There is no hedgewars folder in C:\windows\system32 ....
The log looks fine (so there has to be some other issue).
You shouldn't have to use compatibility mode at all. Would you mind trying to install to another directory, e.g. "C:\Games\Hedgewars"? All I could think about right now might be some crazy permission issue.
i have installed hedgewars in another directory but it doesn't work better....
My user is currently the owner of C:\Windows directory.... I don't understand why it doesn't work.
So the main window just doesn't appear? This is really strange and shouldn't happen. If you don't mind and you've got some time later on, join us on IRC (live chat link on top right if you're not that familiar or just looking for the data) and might be able to solve that issue there.
nothing happen, the process disapear immediately :-/
problem solve....
It was a sound problem....
Now it works!
Thank you =')
