i like it, maybe some icecubes and snowballs as objects?

I like it, I especially like the frozen hogs. I think some more objects would liven it up.

Icecubes as flakes perhaps?

Anywho... In the meantime I decided it was time for more diverse objects

I like the new objects, even though nobody would stick a bottle of rum in a freezer anyway.
How about Chocolate Hogcicles?

I store my vodka in the freezer.

Keeps the alcohol from evaporating off, and is nice when serving.

It is a magic Freezer lol - who knows what may appear in its unexplored frozen depths? I'll take suggestions tho :P

Righteo - new version uploaded and initial download link updated. As previously stated it has flake ice-cubes as well as the strange unexplained rum - It also has two other new map objects for variety.

hmmm... maybe the cubes would look better like this one: not exact copy but if you change it to hedgewarsstyle...

BTW, while having some opacity is good to make it obvious it is land, technically you only need 0.4% opacity (1 out of 255) to make an object solid

I have downloaded the theme but it doesn't work in the new version....

I'll look into all things next month - too busy unfortunately to do much atm and the internet is running over.

Also... have you added the theme name to the "Theme" text in the main themes file? If not than that be your problem. Just add "Freezer" on a new line.

I don't use mac so I can't say for certain by any means - but in windows it is just a word/text document in the main themes folder.

In other news I have a proper horizon up, tho I'm not fully happy with it. I'm working on some more objects - some suggested, some not. Then I'll start working on different icecubes. As it is tho, I doubt you will see any of it til next month.

Any chance of this being picked up on again? This theme still has potential. Some thoughts:

The flake doesn't look that great. Maybe borrow the new snow from the snow theme in the meantime.

Landtex objects need some more variety. Ice cube trays, ice cream, lollies...

The fridge/freezer in the background looks good, but other than that the background looks a bit empty.

Maybe, if I have the time to take a refresher on theme-making.

In the event that I don't, everyone is perfectly welcome to improve this theme and use/modify its resources.

I redid the flake again... there's a slight improvement for now. More importantly, I changed it to the new layout for Theme.cfg so its working again properly now.

Might do some more outlandish stuff for objects. Frozen Lobster claw sticking out of the ice, a banana. An ice cream could work.

Crab anybody? Behold the Mysterious Claw, preserved for untold eons in the permafrost at the back of your old freezer.

Also added some spray objects which are now working, though not shown, aswell as an ice-cream cone, also not shown, aswell as having borrowed the Dust from the Snow theme.

I'm afraid not. At this point I have more than likely lost the .SVGs (though I'll check) but anybody is welcome to work off the assets - add, remove, modify, alter - as with anything (hats/graves/themes/maps) I have posted/linked on these forums.

I have made a more polished version of the theme, because the old version had some issues.

Name: “FreezerW_v1” (different name to distinguish it from the original version, I couldn’t think of a better name).

Changelog:

• renamed to “FreezerW_v1”
• removed the spray Shape.png (was ugly)
• removed the spray Shape2.png (was ugly)
• made LandTex.png tileable
• made LandBackTex.png tileable
• removed SkyR.png
• shrinked SkyL.png
• changed water color
• added BlueWater.png, Droplet.png and Splash.png to fit the water color
• made flakes only appear in background (because front flakes were highly irritating)
• reduced file size of some files

I would like to make the girders slippery (like in Snow theme, by adding “ice” to theme.cfg), but I still hesitate a bit with this. The placable girders need to look different for this as well. You would not expect that default-looking girders are slippery.
