"In Game..." Never starts

Hey i downloaded the game from ur website "the direct download given for Microsoft Windows" and installed it. All went well.But i started the game and chose the single player mode against computer but the game never starts(the situation is the same for every mode). I just see a background with trees and a message at the top left corner given In game...
I disabled my firewall "Comodo" but still the same issue.
I am using Windows XP SP2 and to check again , i installed it on my laptop with Windows 7 64 bit and again the game stops at "In game..."
i hope i would get a solution for this as soon as possible. any kind of help would be deeply appreciated...Thanking all in advance...OOOh plz am so crazy to play this game.

If you are using Comodo, disabling is not enough.
You might have to completely uninstall it.

Has instructions for how to fix Comodo that might work.
Also, under Windows you might suffer from Microsoft's decision to try and kill off OpenGL - make sure your driver has OpenGL support - check the manufacturer website if necessary.

Thanks for the help nemo. just applied ur workaround for the problem as given in the link.Game runs smoothly on my 64bit Win7 laptop.Just loving the game. But for now the single player against computer works fine. But how do i play the hotseat game for 2 players?
1.When i click on the default team it just toggles between the upper box and the lower box
2.I see a set of hedgehogs too on the right. guess its the number of hedgehogs fighting for a team
3.Also a color may be representing the color of the team.
Its problem 1. thats messing me around. How do i add more teams and give them a name and start playing.just wanna play with my bro and there is no wiki showing how to start up a multiplayer game too.
Please nemo if u give me a step by step guide on how to start a multiplayer hotseat game it would be so nice and i would be grateful. Hope for a reply soon to start playing

you need to enter the config (wrench) menu off of the start screen and add another 'human team'.
then you can play hotseat.
