Could we please have the snow that used to be on hedgewars.org every Christmas? It doesn't feel christmasy enough and I have to use the kwin snow plugin!

I'd just be happy if the halloween appearance was dropped.
The snow was... ok... but almost any way of rendering snow on a web page does result in CPU load unless the page is blank.
There are ways to reduce the impact (fewer flakes, slower animations, gif vs text, font-smooth) but there's still a pretty significant impact on any reasonably complex web page.

I would like to have the snow, I've never seen it before. (Beacause I joined around spring 2010.) Maybe we could at least have a Christmasy background.
Background change would be nice, indeed.
