Few things that will make game perfect
Critical suggestions
1. Hedgehogs movement. When you move on horizontal surface or with little angle everything is fine:

But when hedgehog is near ledge then we see his legs on the air.

Such movement makes hard to aim when shooting and predicate will you damage youself. Much better will be rotate hedgehog image like this:

2. Improve A.I. Will be great if PC will use all weapons and make suggestions what attack better: sometimes, for example, good to hide or sacrifice hedgehog to make much more damage to enemy that stay near.
Non-critical suggestions
1. Screen shaking and blinking depends of explosion power.
2. More different sounds from hedgehog.
3. Little antializing of environment edges.
4. Show all the time hedgehogs hats. Currently hats hiding on damage.
5. Will be very good if hedgehogs eyes will follow aim. Now when aim moves only weapon and hand, hedgehogs is staying like static image.
6. Achivements for single (missions, random games, training) and online games.
P.S. Game is great! Good replacement for old Worms. New Worms Reloaded too heavy and except good graphics and AI has many bad changes, so many players still like Armageddon much more. But this game with few improvements can replace Worms at all Good work and good luck!

Certainly. More AI routines are needed. That's also known, and as developer time is found, more are added. If you are a developer, you are welcome to add AI function.
Was in earlier versions, removed because the approach was not visual gear compatible. Will probably get added back eventually.

That's ok only for fragments of map, generated over base. But base image doesn't have antialiasing. Look at:

Can't view the image (if you want to ensure success, use an image host that allows deep linking, and link to the image). But I assume by base image you mean those portions of map exposed through erasure or rules for covering with turf, where you can see the pixelation of the slope. Hrm. Antialiasing *that* could be problematic, both in terms of play (I've gotten used to jumping up steep slopes by judging pixels) and how erasure is done right now. But fair enough.

Im speaking not about what happening with environment during fight. There are smooth and rough parts and both are destroyable. Just look at image.
