Cannot see friend's room.

When I play online, I can't seem to be able to see a room that a friend makes, even though other people can join it. Any help?

You and your friend are probably playing different versions.
One of you should have had an error on joining about being on an old version.
If either of you is under Linux, please check the Download page for info on up to date packages for your repository.
