My question is simply this, when a new version of hedgewars comes out how can I save my hand drawn maps that I have made? Is there something I can do to save them, I was thinking maybe I could transfer them to a seperate folder until i've downloaded the new version. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated, Thanks!

I had some old replays. I left them in the same directory and installed new version of game. They remained there, but they're incompatible now. The same is with hand-drawn maps. They won't disappear and if the system won't change in next version, they will work

The saved files are not stored in the application directory but rather somewhere (dependent on your os) in your home directory, so should be safe when just removing the game.
