So after a long time, i finally decided to update my dev. version of hedgewars...
After playing a bit, i noticed a few things which irked me a little.

Firstly, the drill strike seems a bit overpowered now. To go through everything until the timer runs out seems ridiculous to me...
Why not try something like, that it can resurface two times before exploding, rather than once.

Secondly, the splash physics seem very odd to me. The water droplets go muuuuch too far. This can be seen especially well when falling into the water at an angle.

Lastly, the rope seems to have been changed alot. One thing is, when the rope is bent because of an object, and you try to pull yourself back up, it forbids you to pull yourself to the very edge of the object. Instead, you are left dangling by around 1 cm of rope. This can be a bit of a problem when the rope is almost at full stretch and you want to pull yourself up without re-attaching it.

Furthermore, the rope attaches to barrels and hogs again... although i dislike it, it's not such a big problem as i understand that many people asked for it . However, when you are inside of a barrel and you use the rope, it attaches to the inside of the barrel. Then, when you press up and left/right, followed by space, you and the barrel are sent flying high into the air. I'm not sure if that is intended, as it makes it very easy to break barrels using only the rope.

Although this post is only about problems, I hope that none of you take it the wrong way, as it is meant to be purely constructive. Smile

I agree with you about the first two points. As for the rope, I haven't really tried it.

No, no, every one is allowed to play it if they want to (as far as i know, and im pretty sure)

However, i can't guide you into how to set it up, as i myself am a noob in these kind of things, so i would suggest you go onto the irc (live chat tab at the top) and ask for help, if you are interested.

Hope that answers your questions. Smile
