I havent been kicked but I've seen everyone getting kicked simultaneously for no apparent reason.

Any idea why is happening this? virus on the server? hackers kicking people?

same problem. except i go to the main lobby and i still have contact with all the others, or everyone is kicked and i am alone in the room
and will say that i had a ping timeout, but i still have contact with everyone else, it is freaking me out!

Those symptoms weren't the same as his. His was a crash due to a user being malicious. That particular situation has been (hopefully) prevented.

ping timeout means you have a bad connection. your client gets "pinged" by the server every once in a while, and if it doesn't respond, the server disconnects you.

ending up in the lobby could be for a variety of reasons. connection problems, room admin quit/crashed/disconnected, you got kicked, you maybe hit esc which was recently bound to the back button...

hmm i dont think i hit esc, my connections not that bad. it could be my old cpu.
