Portal Gun 0.9.16
Hi All.
I've Been playing around with the portal gun in .16 and had a few issues that I'd like to point out.
1) It'd be cool if the portal projectile moved faster, in my opinion. When trying to jump around with portals (especially at high speeds after a few consecutive jumps) you realize that if you try to shoot anywhere except in front of yourself, the portal will almost never make it in time. Hence, when you hit the other existing portal, you will just crash as no other portal exists.
2) If you try to portal something other than yourself, one of two things may happen. Either, you first make a portal under the object/hog, and then somewhere else. In this case, there are no problems. However, if you first make the portal somewhere else, and THEN place the 2nd portal under the object/hog, you are unable to move till the object has stopped moving.
-Personally this seems kinda buggy and not intended-
3) Lastly, and this is pretty much the same thing as the 2nd one, just in another situation, if, while portal jumping, you accidentally put a portal under another object/hog, you can't move till the other object stops moving.
-This also includes triggering a mine, at least sometimes...-
Please let me know if this stuff is intentional or not, and if it will be fixed.
Other than that, I really like the new update, thanks for the effort put into it and please keep them coming!

Oh cute, a small script that is support to double portal shot speed :P

And thanks for the script mikade, it works alot better this way.
Though, because its a gameplay mode, i sadly cant use it in combination
with racer, but i guess for now its good enough.
And to the devs: Is there any chance, that this could be made the standard
speed for the portal projectiles?
EDIT: I've been messing around with the script, and it really works wonders when portal jumping! please make it standard
Did it solve 2 or 3? This was the original reason for reducing delay, so, I am kinda sad you are even getting such issues. Tried to reproduce even without the script and didn't succeed.

Well, the script does solve 2 and 3 from the testing I've done. However, if you make a portal loop with an enemy hog in it, you can still move. However, if the hog is still in the loop, and then you try to shoot another portal, you will fire the portal, but be unable to move.
P.s. Time also stands still during this time, though, oddly enough, i can still switch the portal colour with tab.
