I think it would be a good improvement if we had more than one "fall in water" sound, it would be more realistic, even if they are random.

Record some? This *is* open source after all :-p

As for randomness, could be based on object mass (already in place for more wind mode)

Creative commons sounds can be used if license allows it?

they usually require some editing though for length, format or empty space at start/end.

I think i've found some good sounds for our purposes:

Would like to help creating the patch but never contributed so i must learn to compile hedgewars first and understand a lot of things. Cannot promise its going to be ready soon, a lot of work here. As it as an *easy* task, maybe its better someone else does it.

Another solution is using only one sound but using the sample volume as mass indicator.
