Open link in new tab automatically

Lately, i have seen some maps/link that is from this Hedgewars Website. When i clicked on the link, it directly used the current bar address to go to the link. So here i suggest : Automatically open the link in new tab to make our task much easier.
That really depends on the web browser you're using, not the site/link.
However, you can just hit right click and select "open link in new tab" or just hit the middle mouse button to open the link in a new tab
Woah, never knew about the middle mouse. You have just made my life awesomer.

ctrl-click works too if you don't have a middle mouse button.
I think shift-click is new window.

That's not my problem. You know like some other website they open any link that we clicked automatically in new tab.
yeeeah. there are bigger problems w/ the website, like the fact that the CMS really really needs updating.
Personally though I *despise* that behaviour.
Let me decide if I want something to open in a new tab or not. ctrl-click vs regular click is almost an unconscious reflex for me, and sites that try to decide it for me are jarring/annoying.
Google News for example has started doing that lately. Reeeeally irritating.
Another annoying Google trick is their new dynamically updating search (if I have Google whitelisted in NoScript).
So, if I want to refine a search based on stuff I saw in the first search's results, I'd better have a good memory 'cause it is going to vanish as soon as I start typing.
