gameplay+utility suggestion

hey, guys.

how about if someone shoots a grenade in the air, he can quickly select deagle or sniper or shotgun and blow that grenade mid-air, like if u shoot straight up.

and as for the utility, what if there was a weapon upgrade crate.
if u select and use that, u can then select any other weapon and it is enhanced, for instance, u can blow the grenade whenever u want, even after many turns, the bazooka shoots 3 or when it blows it bursts in flames, etc

The "upgrade" crate could be implemented as a script. Dunno if it'll be added as core. Messing w/ weapon behaviour too much, not a big core thing. Also would need some UI to indicate it. A bit of a pain.

Shooting a grenade in the air, not likely to happen. Would require significant change to how those weapons work for something of limited utility. You *can* kick a grenade in mid air using a 2nd grenade and good timing. (hum. actually discussing this right now Wink Smiley - so. maybe? Big Grin)

You can kick a grenade into the air that's on the ground using a bazooka.

You can't, currently, whip or bat a grenade sitting on the ground, although allowing that might not be too far-fetched.
