Computer player blocked,it does always the same thing for all the turn

I've seen that, when computer is in this situation[imgl]http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3108/2551852774_0b955e132e.jpg?v=0[/imgl] the computer (both this hedgehog are controlled by it) always try to jump backward and walk, for all the turn, without success. Is it possible to..uhm..I don't know, make a control that if the action doesn't work, it try something else. The hedgehogs in the picture aren't in the same team, but they don't attack each other.
Do you think it's possible?
Another question, is it possible to use fast speed in game like in demo with the 's' key?

Yeah, it's very dumb, but usually after some tries it stops doing same thing and tries smth else.
It is impossible to speed up game. Such feature would break network game and AI.
Ok, maybe in this situation the computer has not computed something else.
