Climb Home is a mission by nemo. You can find this mission in latest experimental builds.

You play in a very high but rather thin map and have infinite ninja ropes. You have to climb as high as you can.

The mission is also available as multiplayer mission.

I have made many edits to this mission. Those changes are NOT in official Hedgewars builds.
Here’s a quick changelog:

  • Added better graph in stats screen: In singleplayer, it shows your height over time, in multiplayer, it shows
  • Hogs make “Nooo!” sound when they fly to far away from the map left or right
  • Added several pointless taunts and joke awards in the stats screen
  • Add proper ranking in multiplayer, based on score (=best team height)
  • Show a message when a hog beats the current best height
  • Probably more things I have forgotten. Big Grin

Singleplayer mode seems to be pretty much complete and can be played, I am just not very happy with the end of the mission right now, I need to talk to nemo about that.
Multiplayer mode is mostly finished, but there is one important bug left: You will always play one hog less than you inserted into the game, causing the game to quit prematurely.

Thanks for the fixes Wuzzy. FWIW, this isn't on DLC 'cause it required a tweak to .20 to get it to load at all in SDL1.2
Next release...
It was kind of a stress test of map loading that evolved into a mission.
