Hello, Im just found this game today and loved it already Smile.
My question is: is it any button to change the plane direction?
Because im not found it yet. Or it wasn't implemented yet?
If not, please implement it in the next release because it's really important for hitting hog from the right. In case they hiding in the left side of the roof.

This is already implemented since ages.

Hit the left or right key to flip the plane direction. The same left/right keys used for walking. You can reconfigure them in the options and per team.

Tip: All weapons and utilities have a brief description and usage instructions in their tooltip. Just read it! However, the descriptions are not always complete.

By the way: Welcome to the Hedgewars community!

Thanks for the info.
That was simple. Im just silly.

Anyway, i have been experimenting about the computer AI for several hours.
So far so good. They can use most of the weapons. Except for few things:

1. They didn't use most of the utilities (teleport, ufo, rope, girder, torch, etc).
When i set the game with just punch, baseball bat, and all utilities turned on. They basically just stuck (just skiping until drown by sudden death water) if they can't reach the enemy. At least they should be able to use teleport and ufo.

2. I've been read the 0.9.19 changelog. It says "The AI will use drill if they find the enemy hiding behind wall". Well it's true but, when bazoka, greanade, guns are turned on they prefer to dig the ground with those weapons rather that the drill (Maybe because i set those weapons to infinite?). They need to improve in weapon selection.

So, any plan to improve the AI more? Maybe next release? Because i really like single player Big Grin.

Well Nemo is always improving the AI, so it's getting incrementally better every release. That being said, the Hedgewars team is busy and they don't have the time to program the AI to use every single weapon. Patches are welcome!

On Google Code there is an issue for tracking missing support for AI to handle stuff:

https://code.google.com/p/hedgewars/issues/detail?id=184

Of course the developers want to have the AI to be able to handle all weapons. It would just take a serious amount of work, I guess.

The issue title convienently says which weapons are missing.

About the drill rocket: I have tested it in the 0.9.21 release candidate, and the drill rocket is used by the AI. First I thought it does not work, but later I saw that I used a weak AI. Only strong AI uses the drill rocket at all. The weak AI just avoids this weapon. I don’t know which AI levels exactly, however.

PS:
Please open a new thread if you want to discuss something new next time. Thanks.
