OSX 10.10 random desktop freezing when launching game

Hi,
Cant explain that, but sometimes (/days) my entire desktop froze when i launch a game (after adding team/select map). is that knew ? Sound keep playing (my music, i mutted sound in hw), but i cant click anywhere anymore. What should i give you to precise my request ?

Presumably a graphics driver bug w/ your machine. Not sure what we could do.
Report to OSX? Check for updated drivers?
I have a vague recollection of some recent macs having chronic GPU overheating or something... Maybe it is that?
If so, would hopefully be covered by warranty.
Not that hedgewars is terribly demanding on that front. Hell, it runs on hardware from over a decade ago just fine.
Used to suggest users w/ gfx issues in games try disabling compositing window manager when launching game, but unfortunately that's no longer an option in latest OSX and Windows 8. We have a Reduce Quality setting you can try that turns off a bunch of things and scales down the map rendering.
