I think the timer (at the left bottom corner) could see some improvements

First of all, the timer basically means one of 3 things:

  • Turn time left
  • Ready time left
  • Retreat time left

Also, the timer can be paused while attacking.

There is no way to distinguish from a quick glance wheather your are in ready, retreat or in turn phase.
This effect is very noticable in Frenzy mode. You have 8 seconds ready time and 1 second turn time. When just wait for a few seconds you will see how the timer stays at "1" for 2 seconds. I think this is because first the ready time is at 1, then ready time is up and the turn time, which is also 1 second, starts. Very confusung, using a different style would fix this.

So let me suggest this:

Use 3 different clock number colors for each of the 3 phases.
Let's say, green for ready time, yellow/orange for turn time, and red for retreat time.
When the timer is frozen (because of attack, pause, network lag or whatever reason), maybe make it grayish. Or if you are really sophisticated, add some "ice" effect to the clock. Wink Smiley

Also, add a small text (maybe similar-looking to the hog name tags?) above or below the clock in the ready and retreat phase. Maybe just write "Get ready!" in ready phase and "Retreat!" in retreat phase.

Lastly, I want to report a very minor bug: When the timer shows “1000”, the numbers do not fit in the screen.
