Problem with the visibility of Content InGame
Heya, I just started playing HW for the first time in over a year. Glad to be back
I'm just having quite an annoying issue with .22 (Last version I played was .20): The InGame view seems to be kind of zoomed in. It's strange, really: I can see my hog and play normally, but I can't see the timer nor Statistics nor the chatting area.
Even stranger is the chatting area: Sometimes I can only see the bottom right part of the chatting area, sometimes I can't see it at all.
I got a Lenovo Yoga with 3200:1800, maybe that's an issue? In the starting pages and when creating a room and so on there is no problem at all, everything works as usual. Just InGame the problem occurs.
I tried setting down the resolution of my Screen to 1920:1080, and I also tried to reduce the InGame graphics to 1920:1080. The only thing that happened is that i could see the top left of the screen, meaning that for the first time I could read the writing at the beginning of each turn and also the complete Chatting area. Therefor I could still not see the clock or statistics or whatsoever.
Aaaaand I've tried to make screenshots of all that, and this might be interesting: Using the InGame "C" function I'll get a screenshot of the whole game including things like the timer which I couldn't see on my screen, whereas using the Windows Screenshot function I couldn't see ther timer since obviously it only photographs what's actually on the screen.
Can anyone help me with that? Did anyone ever had that same or a similar problem?
Thanks already!!!! Looking forward to being able to play HW properly again
Hm weird.
It does sound like the game is rendering to a viewport that is bigger than your actual screen/resolution.
Does pressing F12 twice (to go to windowed mode and back) help at all?
PS:
You're playing in fullscreen mode, right?
Or are you playing in a window (which is actually too big, so you don't see the window border)?

Well, I was playing fullscreen all the time.
But problem solved. I set down the resolution even further to 1600:xxxx, now it works. Thanks for your help anyway ^_^
