Yeah, known and not fixed right now... wrap isn't actually a coordinate wrap. It's basically kind of a teleport most of the time. Similar to the fact that you can't rope through portals (try it )

You can of course swing towards the wrap and use your momentum to carry you through, which is, I think, what most have gotten used to doing. Unfortunate results if you don't have the momentum though

Maybe the bug can be partially fixed (for now) by destroying the rope as soon it hits the wrap edge, thus forcing/allowing the player to shoot again. Maybe also destroy it at the Sea and bounce edges while you're at it, because it really looks strange/nonsensical otherwise.

This is more like an usability feature so it becomes clear the rope does not work through this edge (yet). Otherwise it looks like the rope goes through the edge (but actually does nothing).
This tweak would also fix a related problem: If you keep shooting the rope while flying through the edge, the rope is drawn very weirdly.

Of course, this is not a real bugfix, but it would “feel” less weird.

I will enter this problem into the bug tracker soon. Also, the old Google Code issues should be pulled into Bugzilla otherwise we will keep getting bug reports for known bugs. :P

Oh, and Orange_Ball: The next time you found a bug, please use the forum search, maybe even search through the bug tracker at https://issues.hedgewars.org/ before posting a bug report. This bug has been posted many times, there is even a recent thread in this very forum about it.

That could be done trivially enough, sure. np.
