New weapon - Cake - my opinion

I used the Cake several times. First shoot, 86 points of damage. I was surprised, very surprised. Let's look at this weapon, here are some of Cake's attributes:

- It doesn't fall off the edges
- It doesn't explode after a certain amount of time.
- You can detonate it whenever you want
- It walks over hedges

In my opinion it's way too much. It will be much better if Cake has, for example, 5 seconds timer. In that case, player will be forced to think a little before using it. He/she will calculate the distance with highs and lows in the ground to get possible place when Cake will explode after 5 seconds. At least, if you do not want to change this weapon, you should, in my opinion, make it crate-only weapon(in default configuration of course).

This weapon is very silly because it's very powerful weapon... for everyone! I think that even the most powerful weapons shall be like that but only... in a good player's hands, not in everyone's hands.

...also it should fall off the edges.

I don't think so, sincerily I was waiting for a weapon that can be detonated whenever you want.

You are right, I thought it doesn't because it's(the timer) not visible and it's more than 5-7 seconds. So, it does but it's like 20, 30 seconds? In my opinion it shall be 5 seconds and..., it should fall off the edges. At least it shall be crate-only weapon(which does not fall off the edges) with 5 seconds timer.

It has the same power as dynamity, just can walk to enemy... Yes, teams shouldn't hve it by default, but we let it until we have more weapons.

I think the cake is simply overpowered. Too much sugar. It should do just 50 damage. But the rest of the idea is great, and if it was timed, I would never use it again.

Oh, if unC0Rr says it has same damage as dynamite it's ok for me. I think damage is ok but it should be timed down to 5 seconds.

Only one issue with this cake weapon : If you let it walk it will be able to walk under water under the terrain ! It might be a bug ?

I thing this weapon is too goood...
This is better than dynamite, and air strike...
And this is enable in 1 round but for eg. baseball in 3 round and air strike in 6...

I repeat, imo cake should fall off the edges. Also I agree with robsons6.

btw. was there in worms any weapon that doesn't fall off the edges?

I definitely DO NOT agree with alzen. The point of the cake is that you can kill/blow off the map an enemy hedgehog even when he is not in direct range. Yes, I agree that the cake is over powered, but that can be solved by reducing it's damage, adding delay, and every team should have 0 by default. Everything else should left the way it is, even the ability to be under water.

OK, it's your oppinion, but what I don't like the most in this whole not falling off the edges it that cake doesn't drown when it meets the water.

Hi guys

The cake is quite fine as it is. Yes, it is a bit over-powered. But the weaponset anyway needs to be set up carefully.

One other idea would be to adjust the cake that way: The longer it walks, the weaker the damage will get. Lets say, for a timer of 3 seconds, the cake damages for around 80 pts (damage would be partially inflicted to the current player, too) and then it continuously takes less damage, the further it walks.

Fall into the water: yes
Fall off an edge: no that's why the cake is tactically very interesting. Keep this like it is.
