Spectating the game

This evening(/night 
) I was talking with unC0R about spectate mode in multiplayer games. First of all I think it's not obvious that you even has the ability to become a spectator, it's just my opinion so I would like to discuss this thin with you all. Here is what you need to do to spectate a multiplayer game:
- Connect without adding any team
I think it's not so obvious. I would add, for example, a checkbox in frontend with text "Spectate the game". Please tell what do you thing about this topic's subject.

The idea is funny... But in my opinion, it's not a real requirement.
If someone wants to spectate a game, he can take a look at the record that is created...
It's enough just not to add a team and press "Go" instead. Sure, the spectator isn't listed in the game... but is that really necessary?
In my opinion, a feature that can be implemented at the very end of the list...

Of course, let's say there are 10 friends playing, for game to make sense not everyone will play, because teams would be too small. Sure thing, it's best to send them to the shop or to the toilet when waiting for their turn. They didn't see the game so they will need to ask the other, those who played the game who won and so on. Btw. those offline-spectators won't be able to talk with other spectators when others are playing. And it's very fun!

It's a very good idea. Spectators can chat with players and do comments
wonderful!Maybe in game should be notified (always?don't know. maybe on the top right corner under fps) that there are X spectators seeing the game. Or it can be displayed in chat.
Maybe off topic, may be not... Unc0r, is possible to change color of chat text to notify something?
