So... I can delete, although it is a bit of a pain, because it erases other people's content too, like for example this comment in reply to you.
What I much rather do is set your username to a random string, and your email address to something invalid in your account settings.
Then all your personal info is gone and it is just a placeholder.

This is not that unlike how account deletion occurs on social media sites and such.

So. I'm doing that now.
