HL balance

I cant play anymore with this terrible balance in highlander mode. The normal practice for the game is to give 2 hell G or 2 rc plane, all ropes and all ufos for team A, but team B get usless rifle, pistol, mortar or game "gift" to him 3 napalm strikes in a row and this team physically cant win with this stupidely balance in favor of one team. Ah yes, no random turns, game give first turn only for 1 team again and again and again, after 3-4 try she let first turn to another team.
Yes, Highlander is very random, if you're out of luck, you're screwed. But the high randomness is, frankly, kind of the point (more or less).
I don't think it is feasible to make any major changes to the game mode, however, since it is one of the most popular game modes and I wanna bet there will be an uprising if I even dare to touch Highlander.
Note that there never was a Highlander tournament. Not surprising given its high random-ness.
I don't mind if players ragequit Highlander and I can understand. I'm not really that a big fan of Highlander myselves. There are plenty of other game modes as well.
Hi, I am a Hedgewars developer.
You could always create a highlander scheme without any super weapons. I'm not sure if it would be as enjoyable.
It's kinda like a poker match where skill on average triumphs over luck, but sometimes you just get really crappy cards.
And that's part of the fun.

With regards to which team starts first...
Highlander explicitly enables random order.
You may just be getting unlucky.
I'm not too sure why the script is enforcing this instead of relying on the room's scheme config.
It needlessly complicates a tournament where you would want to change the team order in the interface to change who starts first.
I think for next release should make sure that is user configurable.
