Right now the Hedgewars server is scattered with players who only play highlander and players who only play highlander in private rooms.
An exception is made for 4-5 players (including me) who play also The Specialists. What I want to say is that the community is divided and the players play always the same thing over and over.
In order to fix that i was thinking about the implementation of weekly tournaments which consists in a series of match (1v1 or 2v2 or 3v3) of a random script ( for example one week Shoppa, one week Capture the flag, one week Mutant and so on) with the same seed and the same map and the same theme and the same scheme,set of weapons,number of hogs so the games are all balanced.
Tournaments will have a winner so it will be more fun.
I think this implementation would make the community more unite and would let the players play even in their private matches a largely variety of scripts. Also this would be a happy time to stay togheter and have fun and meet new players.
