For me the best day for our match is saturday up to 1:00 PM and after 9:00 PM.

Hmm, not to rush you but round 1 will be over in just 2 days and out of 16 games, only 3 have been played (if I see correctly) and one game has been canceled. This means, there are still 12 games to play.

Better try to contact your opponent soon or you will never meet till the deadline. And that would suck.

A lot of people play their games on the weekend. Is the easiest time to arrange timezones.

I haven't gotten a response from my opponent, not sure what's up.

Okay, the release of 0.9.20 is close.

With 0.9.20 comes a change to the Default scheme: No more portal guns, freezers, RC planes and landguns at start. This is therefore highly relevant for the tournament. I do not want to discuss now wheather these changes are good, bad or ugly.

I want to ensure things won’t get wrong when the release happens. Let’s assume the worst and the release happens in the middle of a round in the tournament.
Now if you want to go the “people shall decide for themselves which version they want to play” way there’s a problem: While those who have not yet played the round have a free choice between 0.9.19 and 0.9.20 those who already played the round had no choice. I don’t think that would be fair.

I suggest the following rule change: If the release happens in the middle of a round, this round must still be played in 0.9.19. This ensures that all players in this round had the same conditions and that those who had luck by waiting a bit longer don’t get an unfair advantage. For the round after that round, this suggested rule does not need to apply anymore.
